In view of guidance from the Government indicating that some spectators may be able return to stadiums in October, subject to trial events being staged successfully, the different departments of the club are working on preparations for welcoming supporters back.
We have been blown away by the fact almost 7,000 have already purchased season tickets without knowing when they will be able to watch a game. The support and loyalty you have shown at such a difficult time, both socially and financially, is amazing.
Rest assured, we are as keen as the next Hatter to have everyone back inside Kenilworth Road as soon as is safely possible, and we will be sharing information as and when it becomes available in the coming weeks as to how that process may evolve.
We also know that many people, having become used to settling down on the sofa for the second best option of watching the live match stream on iFollow Hatters with Simon ‘Statto’ Pitts describing the action, will be wanting to know if that remains possible for the new season.
Following the restart in June, up to 7,000 Hatters were logging on to watch with streaming codes issued to the ‘Luton Legends’ who did not claim a refund for the matches they could not attend.
At this moment in time, we are still awaiting instruction from the EFL as to whether this can continue for the matches that will be played behind closed doors.
Currently, subscriptions to iFollow Hatters are not available for purchase while EFL Digital undertake crucial upgrade work on the platform. This is only temporary.
Season passes will renew on 1st September ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, and we are awaiting confirmation on which fixtures individual match passes will be available for.
We know that everyone will be excited to discover who Nathan, Mick and the lads will be facing on September 12th and in the opening weeks of the season. We understand completely that everyone will be eyeing two dates especially on their calendar! (which you can sync to include all Hatters fixtures by clicking here or the tweet below)
But we ask for your continued patience by not contacting the ticket office or commercial departments – both of which are continuing to operate with reduced staff – to enquire about these matters.
We will share any information that becomes available on the club website and social media channels, while all iFollow specific enquiries should be directed towards EFL Digital as club staff do not have access to any account details. You can do so…
Finally, we would like to thank you for your understanding, generosity and togetherness in helping the club through the pandemic, which continues, and will continue to have a lasting effect going forward.
Stay safe and COYH!
