Hundreds of you have already renewed season tickets online, and we’d like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to each of you pledging your support once again.
We’re particularly pleased with the response to a whole new aspect of season ticket renewal, announced yesterday as our way of recognising and repaying in part the amazing support you have continued to offer this season – despite not being able to go to games in person, apart from that brief and limited chance before further lockdown.
We’re offering a 40% credit to everyone who renews their 2021/22 season tickets, and we hope that this will help you in these economically challenging times. But we’re also offering you the option to pay the full rate – with every penny going into a Transfer Fund to help Nathan, Mick and our recruitment team buy new players and to meet the Championship challenge even better next season!
If you are able to do so, this is a way for your support to make an even bigger difference to the success of the club in the future. We understand that for many that won’t be an option, with the unprecedented and often tragic toll the pandemic has made on all our lives. But in talking to supporters we also found that many of you wanted a way to continue contributing so very generously – helping, as every renewal does, whether you take the credit or not, to keep us progressing in this league with its massive financial gulf between clubs. Don’t forget, you can still be a Diamond Season Ticket holder too – it all makes such a difference to the club.
Everyone who effectively contributes the full rate for 2021/22 (by donating the credit offer or more) will be included in a special 'Transfer Club' which will come with some unique, exclusive benefits. You'll have access to monthly webinars, zoom meetings leading up to our summer signings, get to meet the recruitment team to understand their role, inclusion in a 2021-22 supporter 'Roll of Honour' on the official website and a chance to win a match worn shirt at each home game.
It’s a token of our appreciation, the level of which is hard to put in words. You’ll find CEO Gary Sweet’s full thoughts about that in the 2021/22 Season Ticket brochure, which you can download now. And here’s what Mick and Nathan have to say about you incredible, unique Luton Town supporters in the Watford match programme (we so want to be competing with and beating them every season again!) …
Manager Nathan Jones:
Assistant Manager and Chief Recruitment officer Mick Harford:
No better set of supporters in the country. That’s you, each and every one of you – so please get your season ticket renewals in and let’s look forward to cheering the Hatters on in person once again!
